Thanksgiving 2006

Happy Thanksgiving to all! We are so blessed to live in this country, to have family and friends who truelly care for each other bless each other. This year for Thanksgiving, we all traveled up to Napa to be with my sister's families and my Dad. Dad made a break out of the hospital for a short visit ( thank you Dr. Tom) with all of us to share a Thanksgiving meal together. Uncle Rene and Phyllis were able to join us with Cindy, Steve and Laurie. The whole Caldwell Clan was down from Sacramento/ Elk Grove area. Rachel flew in on red eye from Boston for the occasion. We enjoyed a Turkey Trot football game on Thursday with a neighborhood of friends up north. Most importantly we had the opportunity to reflect in prayer with my Dad our thankfulness for our many blessings and memories as a family together. We praise the Lord in Thankisgiving for his bountilul blessings for us.

Rachel had a special friend Christine visiting in Boston last weekend. Christine sent this picture. Christine and Rachel have been excellent friends since senior year in High school. She has also lived with us in the past. Carrie Ann and I were hoping to visit Rachel this fall but it didn't work out for now. Jill my sister is finishing her last week of chemo and radiation.
